So follow these missions instead of doing things the way you think is best: your progress will get a huge boost if you go with completing the quests first. These act as a story line for the game and help you get all the buildings and upgrades in the correct order (for most of the time at least) and also reward you with great items that you can use to keep the production going. The best way to progress faster is by completing the in-game missions. It’s all pretty straightforward here, but if you just started playing this game and you want to make sure that you take advantage of everything it has to offer, read on for some useful Big Farm tips and tricks! Goodgame’s title is slightly different than other farming games and makes me remember the good ol’ days of playing FarmVille on Facebook. While Harvest Moon: One World may be missing the polish and overall quality that makes simulation games rewarding and engaging, hopefully the release of Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town will help ease the frustrations and scratch the farming itch for fans of the farming simulation genre.Ever since discovering Big Farm: Mobile Harvest a short while ago, I couldn’t stop playing.

The lack of content and rough visuals distract from gameplay and seems to be a disappointing continuation of lackluster titles from a series whose name was a staple of the farming simulation genre for decades. While Harvest Moon: One World has improved marginally on many issues from previous games, the current quality doesn't match the price for the Nintendo Switch farming game. Harvest Moon could have improved on this by having fewer areas with more content in each location. While having many options for exploration is a fun concept, it only works if the areas are properly fleshed out and have engaging content to discover. The villages are very small, leaving little to explore, and few NPCs to interact with outside of potential marriage candidates. However, unlike Story of Seasons' culture-rich towns filled to the brim with festivals, shops, and different NPCs, Harvest Moon: One World's villages feel empty. Each locations appears to be modeled on a different existing culture, which seems distractingly similar to the Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns. These villages are tucked away in dry deserts and in frigid mountains, among many other locations. One of the big focus points for Harvest Moon: One World were the different villages scattered around the map.

While Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town has stylized animals to look cute and approachable, most of One World's animal designs include empty black eyes and low resolutions fur textures. While there are many different types of animals to be raised, the models feel stiff and sometimes unsettling.
It also appears that livestock mechanics are lackluster in Harvest Moon: One World.
